i7-9700k for $220 plus $40 off a motherboard. I know there isn’t any life in the z390 chipset but for $370 I don’t think there is a better cpu/mobo combo for gaming. You can save more and go for a cheaper board too. A 10600k is really close to the 9700k single core, and 5% faster in multicore.But that’s $40 more and only has $20 off a motherboard.
